Meas Meul

Born to a family of farmers in Kampong Thom, Khmer Warrior Challenge Champion Meas Meul was forced to drop out of school to help his family with its crops. A weak and sickly child, he began training in Kun Khmer at an early age to deal with the bullying and teasing he endured from other children.

After hearing about opportunities to forge a career in the cage, Meul began to focus on training in other disciplines so he could help to support his family financially. Along the way, he competed in Kun Khmer, judo, wrestling, and boxing, becoming a five-time national champion in judo while compiling an undefeated 13-0 record in Kun Khmer.

Meul made his professional cage debut in 2014, and has racked up several impressive victories since then, with the majority of them being finishes. Training alongside the best martial artists in Cambodia, he is determined to become the first Cambodian World Champion in the cage, and had a good start to his quest with two first-round stoppage wins on the global stage of ONE Championship.
