Natalie Gonzales Hills was born in Cavite City, Philippines, but moved to the United Kingdom, her mother’s birth country, when she was 9 months old. She began training in karate at the age of 8 under her father’s influence, but when she was 14, she turned her back on martial arts due to distractions.

When she was 21, Gonzales Hills was the victim of a racially-motivated gang attack. This inspired her to start training again, and she took up boxing, competing in numerous inter-club tournaments while she was completing her university degree.

After graduating, she moved to Thailand to study Muay Thai and had five professional bout, winning them all. Next, Gonzales Hills visited Australia, and though she only planned to be there for a few months, she soon began training at Langes MMA and decided to make the move permanent. She struggled to find opponents willing to face her under Muay Thai rules, so she decided to start competing in the cage instead, and soon found herself up against some of the best female martial artists in the world in ONE Championship.
