One of the world’s most prominent martial arts organisations, ONE Championship, announced on 7 December 2023 that the ONE Championship will debut in Qatar with the ‘ONE 166:Qatar’ martial arts world championship in March 2024.
The championship will take place on 1 March 2024 at the Lusail Sports Arena. The event will feature five ONE World Championship fights; MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling.

On Wednesday, ONE Championship officially announced its 2023 debut in Qatar. ONE 166: Qatar will go down on Friday, March 1, and be loaded with five World Championship matchups. Along with official presenting partner Qatar Tourism, official media partner Media City Qatar, and official partner Ooredoo, ONE 166 will emanate from Lusail Sports Arena.
