ONE Championship is coming back to America.

Following its U.S. debut in May, the promotion has booked two U.S.-based events as part of its 2024 calendar, which includes 12 events on Prime Video.

ONE Championship is returning to the U.S. for two events in late 2024.

The Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion will stage shows in Denver on Sept. 6 and in Atlanta on Nov. 8, Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced Wednesday.

ONE Fight Night 26 will take place Sept. 6 at Ball Arena in Denver, and ONE Fight Night 28 will be held Nov. 8 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Both state athletic commissions have approved ONE’s rules, which are different than the Unified Rules of MMA and include knees to the head of grounded fighters.

ONE Championship will return to the United States with live events in September and November.

Initially scheduled to hold four events in the U.S., the new plan is to have two in 2024. The first is on September 6 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado for ONE Fight Night 26, followed by November 8 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia for ONE Fight Night 28.

An injury has forced ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon to withdraw from the January 28 headliner against Takeru Segawa in the promotion’s blockbuster return to The Land of the Rising Sun.

The wait will go on for “The Iron Man” to face Takeru in a fight that has been mooted since the Japanese star signed with ONE in 2023 as the hottest free agent in combat sports. But the news isn’t all bad, as ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 has stepped in to face the Japanese superstar.

Kade Ruotolo will defend the ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Championship on January 28 in Tokyo at ONE 165, and his opponent will be a familiar one: Tommy Langaker.

Britain’s Liam Nolan will fight on the first ONE Championship card broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Nolan, a Muay Thai kickboxer, will feature on the January 13 bill that will now be headlined by the Shamil Gasanov vs Oh Ho Taek mixed martial arts bout, live on Sky Sports Mix from 1 a.m.

Tawanchai PK Saenchai defeated Superbon Singha Mawynn via majority decision to retain the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai world title.

The victory, attained by majority decision, closed out ONE Championship’s ONE Friday Fights 46, which took place at the famed Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Nico Carrillo delivered a late entry into the Knockout of the Year discussion on Friday.

Carrillo faced kickboxing legend Nong-O in a Muay Thai bout at ONE Friday Fights 46 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. A little over a minute into the second round, Carrillo delivered a smashing standing elbow to Nong-O, knocking him stiff in the corner to pick up one of the biggest wins of his career.

Saudi-born Yemeni Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Osamah Almarwai will make his long-awaited return to the ONE Championship in the promotion’s first-ever event in Qatar in March.

The Singapore-based martial arts promotion organization has announced that Almarwai will face Brazilian rival Cleber Sousa in a flyweight submission grappling bout at ONE 166: Qatar, inside the Lusail Sports Arena, on March 1.

Joshua “The Passion” Pacio is set to headline ONE Championship’s ONE 166.

The former ONE strawweight MMA world champion will be looking to redeem himself as he is set to lock horns with reigning champ Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks in a five-round faceoff at the Lusail Sports Arena on March 1 in Qatar.

ONE Championship announced a partnership with Sky Sports on Tuesday to carry the Asia-centered martial arts promotion on Sky’s broadcast and digital platforms in Britain and Ireland.

The first event under the agreement is One Fight Night 18, which will be held Jan. 13 in Bangkok and headlined by a bout between flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Elias Mahmoudi.
