アンジェロ・“The Unicorn King”ビモアジ

Garuda Fight League Champion Angelo Bimoadji is not your typical combat sports athlete. His unusual nickname “The Unicorn King” evolved out of an earlier moniker, “The Kaiju King”, a reference to his obsession with geek and pop culture, including movies about giant Japanese monsters.

After he observed some of his friends being bullied, Bimoadji vowed to be prepared and prevent it from ever happening to him by picking up martial arts. He started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing in high school under former ONE athlete Max Metino, but when Metino’s gym moved further away from his house, Bimoadji linked up with his current coach, Adri Kumara, whom he has studied under ever since.

Bimoadji has more experience than his professional record indicates, having spent a fair amount of time in the amateur ranks honing his craft. He won his mixed martial arts debut in regional Indonesian promotion Garuda Fight Leaguu, submitting his opponent in under a minute to win the flyweight belt and earn a place in ONE Championship.
