10 Cool Pieces Of Fan Art Celebrating The Heroes Of ONE Championship

American superstar Demetrious Johnson walks to the Circle for his ONE debut

The athletes of ONE Championship are often celebrated as heroes for the amazing feats they perform both inside and outside of the Circle.

Fans from around the globe are inspired by the displays of martial arts acumen, heart, and determination that the ONE superstars deliver in every single one of their respective bouts.

Oftentimes, the loyal fans who love these world-class athletes will pay homage to them by drawing, painting, or digitally creating some unbelievable artwork in their likenesses.

In that spirit, here are 10 cool pieces of fan art celebrating the men and women who compete in The Home Of Martial Arts.

Demetrious Johnson

In addition to being one of the best pound-for-pound athletes in all of mixed martial arts, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is also an avid gamer who seems to be just as dangerous with a controller in his hands as he does when wearing 4-ounce gloves.

This piece of fan art featuring Johnson showcases his passion for martial arts and gaming, which makes perfect sense because many of the awe-inspiring moves he displays in the Circle look like something that could only be done in a video game.

Rika Ishige

Rika “Tiny Doll’ Ishige has quickly become one of the most popular athletes in The Home Of Martial Arts — not only because of her performances, but also because of the way she displays her love for pop culture in her entrances.

In this stunning portrait, a fan paid tribute to Ishige by reimagining an iconic photograph with watercolor-based paint.

Angela Lee

ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee may only be 22 years old, but she has already inspired an entire generation of fans looking to follow in her footsteps.

Lee shared this piece of artwork ahead of her last contest, which also featured fellow ONE athletes Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez and the aforementioned “Mighty Mouse.”

Nieky Holzken

ONE Super Series competitor Nieky “The Natural” Holzken has earned his place in martial arts history as one of the greatest kickboxers to ever lace up a pair of gloves.

A fan honored the Dutch icon with the ultimate piece of artwork — he got an image of Holzken in a victorious stance tattooed on his body.

Giorgio Petrosyan

Speaking of kickboxing royalty, Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan might be one of the most decorated athletes to ever compete in the sport.

While Petrosyan is known for his blistering performances inside the ring, this particular drawing paying tribute to him shows the legend in a stoic state, perhaps just before he is about to unleash his offensive arsenal against an opponent.

Xiong Jing Nan

Reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan has been quite an addition to the roster. Her devastating knockout power combined with her relentless pace has been pivotal to her undefeated run in The Home Of Martial Arts.

This playful bit of artwork featuring Xiong celebrates her unique nickname. In fact, this graphic was revealed a week before “The Panda” faced Lee in their historic showdown this past March.

Brandon Vera

Brandon “The Truth” Vera has become a crossover sensation.

When the ONE Heavyweight World Champion isn’t dominating in the Circle, he is dabbling in acting roles as he looks to become the next great action star in Asia.

This drawing of Vera was done by fellow Filipino Whilce Portacio, who is also one of the best known comic book artists in the world. He is known for working on titles such as The Uncanny X-Men and The Punisher, as well as being one of the founding members of Image Comics.

Sage Northcutt

With his chiseled physique and jaw-dropping displays of athleticism, “Super” Sage Northcutt already looks the part of a superhero.

A fan decided to pay homage to the 23-year-old martial arts prodigy with this piece of artwork, which showcases the American with a pair of flaming wings. It looks like something straight out of a comic book.

Bi Nguyen

BeforeBi “Killer Bee” Nguyen had even stepped foot in the Circle, a fan honored her with this incredible sketch, which shows off the same fierce gaze she possesses when competing.

The drawing even comes complete with the buzzing of a bee over her name. Nguyen quickly lived up to her moniker with a TKO victory in her first promotional appearance in April.

Kevin Belingon

Former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon earned his nickname by shutting down his opponents with highlight-reel striking attacks that routinely drop people’s jaws in shock and astonishment.

The same could be said of his opponents after they are quieted by Belingon inside the Circle, which is conveyed by this piece of artwork. What’s more, it is in Team Lakay’s traditional colors.
