Aziz Calim Attempts His Favorite Martial Arts Movie Kick
Aziz “The Krauser” Calim is trying his best to impersonate his martial arts film hero, Scott Adkins.
Adkins portrays Russian prison fighter Yuri Boyka in the films Undisputed II: Last Man Standing and Undisputed III: Redemption. One of the character’s specialties is a wild spinning attack, which is a favorite of Calim’s.
In a recent Instagram post, the Indonesian mixed martial artist gave the move a shot, which he followed by showing a clip of Boyka’s kick in action.
Despite the kick’s very high level of difficulty, Calim almost nailed it. Plus, he set his impressive attempt to Linkin Park’s smash hit “In The End,” which is fitting – in the end, it didn’t even matter because Calim tried so hard.
With some more practice, “The Krauser” might just nail down the technique. If he does, opponents in the strawweight division should probably watch out.
