Seksan Ready For ‘Fierce’ Fight With Liam Harrison In Matchup Of Muay Thai Legends At ONE 168: Denver

Seksan Or Kwanmuang was the must-see fighter of 2023, and he wants to regain that status when he returns against Liam “Hitman” Harrison at ONE 168: Denver

The 35-year-old Thai slugger has been sidelined due to injury since April, but he’s now healthy and ready to make his United States debut at Ball Arena on Friday, September 6.

Fans waited patiently for this 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai clash with Harrison to become official because the aggressive tactics from both men are almost certain to produce an all-out war.

And for his part, Seksan can’t envision anything other than furious action when the two legendary strikers collide inside the Circle.

“The Man Who Yields To No One” told onefc.com

“Both me and him have the ability to knock each other out because we both have the same style. So, I have a strong belief it won’t go the distance.

“But if we fight until the last bell, it’s going to be a fierce three rounds!”

On the other side, Harrison has stated that his top priority in this fight is to entertain the fans at ONE’s North American return, with winning or losing not the main factor.

Seksan is also eager to put on a memorable display – but he has a point to prove against the hard-hitting Brit:

“Winning this fight is very important to me because I think a lot of fans think I’m no match for him. [They think] I’m going to get knocked out.

“If I can beat [Harrison], then I’ll take another step [forward] in ONE.”

Seksan ‘Flattered’ By Respect From Liam Harrison

Although they’ll undoubtedly throw down like sworn enemies at ONE 168: Denver, Seksan Or Kwanmuang and Liam Harrison have nothing but respect for one another.

Both men are decorated and revered Muay Thai World Champions who have been at the top of the sport for years – and they’ve always admired the other’s work.

Harrison called out Seksan by saying he wanted to face one of his heroes, and “The Man Who Yields To No One” happily accepted this matchup for the same reason:

“I’m glad he called me out. He’s a legend. I follow him too. He’s a heavy hitter. I’m glad he said he wanted to fight a legend from Thailand. I am flattered that he calls me a hero.”

Both of these strikers are also fueled by the opportunity to face such a dangerous opponent.

Seksan is most concerned about “Hitman’s” potent offense, although he thinks his own durability might give him the edge if they go into deep waters on September 6.

The Thai added:

“Liam’s strengths are his powerful punches and kicks. His style is similar to a traditional Muay Thai fighter. His punches are very dangerous.

“His weakness is that sometimes he can’t absorb a very strong attack. He will wobble when he gets hit too much.

“I think my physical condition is a little better than his because I am three years younger than him. But it is a very small advantage.”
