3 Explosive Muay Thai Battles Complete Card For ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai Vs. Superbon

Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai Tyson Harrison ONE Friday Fights 34 29

After several weeks of high-profile bout announcements, the card for ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai vs. Superbon is complete.

A trio of Muay Thai showdowns have been added to ONE Championship’s 2023 blockbuster finale, which is headlined by three World Title contests and will broadcast live in Asia primetime from the world-famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, December 22.

Two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai will make his highly anticipated return in bantamweight action against undefeated Iranian striking ace Fariyar Aminipour.

And in a pair of 132-pound catchweight showdowns, ISKA Kickboxing World Champion Eisaku Ogasawara will square off against fan favorite Chorfah Tor Sangtiennoi, while Thai compatriots Suriyanlek Por Yenying and Yodkritsada Sor Sommai will open the show.

Kulabdam, better known by his nickname “Left Meteorite,” has been a mainstay in the world’s largest martial arts organization for the past four years, impressing the global fan base with his massive knockout power.

Though the Thai southpaw has tasted mixed success, he finds himself in good form as of late. In his most recent promotional appearance, he battered Australian breakout star Tyson Harrison en route to a first-round TKO victory.

At ONE Friday Fights 46, Kulabdam will try to build some momentum, capture his 69th career victory, and break into the top-five bantamweight Muay Thai rankings.

But standing across from him will be Aminipour, who could prove to be his most challenging test in recent memory.

The Iranian sensation, who trains out of the famed Tiger Muay Thai camp, owns a spotless 15-0 professional record. He’s also been a force during his time on the ONE Friday Fights event series, defeating Hiroki Suzuki, Ferrari Fairtex, Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon, and four-time Muay Thai World Champion Pongsiri PK Saenchai.

If the 23-year-old beats Kulabdam, he would make his case to earn a six-figure contract from ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Earlier in the evening, Ogasawara will attempt to make another loud statement on the global stage.

The Japanese striker, otherwise known as “Speed Actor,” impressed in his promotional debut when he knocked out Yodwittaya Petchompoo in 31 seconds flat this past August.

Ogasawara will try to get another rapid-fire KO, but Chorfah plans to give him a rude awakening. The Thai veteran had a tough start to life in ONE, but he’s now riding a two-bout winning streak and intends to score the hat trick on December 22.

Opening the 11-bout card are two veterans who will undoubtedly set the pace for a magical evening.

Suriyanlek has impressed during his run in Asia primetime. Though he dropped a single decision, the Thai has knocked out Songfangkhong FA Group, Yodduangjai Sor Jor Montree, and most recently, Tomyamkoong Bhumjaithai.

He’ll need to bring his best to get a highlight-reel stoppage against Yodkritsada, a Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion who is eager to leave the “Madison Square Garden of the East” with his 221st professional win.
