Anthony Engelen Steps Up For Second Bout In A Week
Fresh off a spectacular victory last week, Anthony “The Archangel” Engelen will step up to compete at ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM this Saturday, 17 November.
The Dutch-Indonesian featherweight will jump into the fray at the Stadium Istora in Jakarta, Indonesia to face Jimmy “The Silencer” Yabo in a 72-kilogram catch weight bout on the main card.
A representative of the Indogym team, Engelen returned to ONE Championship against Meas Meul at ONE: HEART OF THE LION last Friday, 9 November.
The 33-year-old only needed 39 seconds to put his Cambodian opponent to sleep with a spectacular head kick.

With the win, he earned his fourth victory in The Home Of Martial Arts and improved his professional record to 7-4.
Engelen will welcome the Philippines’ Yabo back to the cage after an 11-month absence.
The 37-year-old national taekwondo champion last competed at ONE: WARRIORS OF THE WORLD in December 2017.
ONE: WARRIOR’S DREAM will feature a main event match for the vacant ONE: Welterweight World Title between Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam and Tyler McGuire.
Other highlights on the card include a ONE Super series kickboxing clash between Cosmo “Good Boy” Alexandre and Nieky “The Natural” Holzken, as well as the return of local hero Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol against Angelie “D Explorer” Sabanal.
