Eduard Folayang Is Training At One Of America's Top Gyms
Eduard “Landslide” Folayang has taken his training halfway around the world.
The former ONE Lightweight World Champion has briefly left his home of Team Lakay in Baguio City, Philippines, to fly across the Pacific Ocean to the United States of America.
The 33-year-old has traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to train at the world-renowned Jackson-Wink MMA.
The facility is home to several world champions, as well as some of the most respected coaches in the world of mixed martial arts.
Folayang even spent some of his time on the mats with former welterweight world champion Carlos “The Natural Born Killer” Condit.
The Filipino hero is working on his skills following a successful year so far, in which he has started his climb back towards the top of his division.
“Landslide” has already earned unanimous decision victories against two undefeated Russians in 2018 – first Kharun Atlangeriev in May, and then Aziz Pakhrudinov in July.
Folayang says he is open to a return to action against any opponent who will get him closer to the belt next – with rematches against Timofey Nasyukhin, Shinya Aoki, and Martin Nguyen high on his list.
