Fabricio Andrade Knocks Out Jeremy Pacatiw With Crushing Knee

Brazilian MMA fighter Fabricio Andrade attacks Jeremy Pacatiw during their match at ONE: FULL CIRCLE

Fourth-ranked bantamweight MMA contender Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade describes himself as the division’s uncrowned king, and his emphatic finish over Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw at ONE: FULL CIRCLE on Friday, 25 February, showed why.

The Brazilian dynamo continued his flawless ONE Championship run, earning his fourth promotional victory by folding his opponent with a devastating knee to the body at the 1:37 mark of the opening stanza.

Andrade, however, had to fend off a confident Pacatiw, who started as the stronger of the pair. “The Juggernaut” tested his rival’s defenses from the opening bell with a hard leg kick and one-two combination.

The Team Lakay athlete continued to push the Brazilian into reverse gear with his looping overhands and quick movement.

“Wonder Boy” didn’t rush, though, and landed his first combination of the night shortly after, which pushed Pacatiw to the Circle Wall. “The Juggernaut” refused to be a standing target, as he caught the Brazilian’s kick and then connected with an overhand right.

Pacatiw continued to advance with intent against a very patient Andrade, who stood back and clipped his rival with teasing jabs. When these started to connect, the 24-year-old star’s confidence began to shine, and he unleashed a cracking body shot.

“The Juggernaut” looked to reply with more fire, but his appetite for the finish proved to be his downfall. Just as he moved forward and tried to land an overhand right, the Brazilian threw a stinging knee, and the Filipino’s oncoming momentum added to its devastating impact.

Pacatiw crumpled to the canvas, wincing in pain, and the referee waved off the fight.
