Full Card Announced For ONE: A NEW BREED III
ONE Championship is set to close out the ‘A NEW BREED’ event series with a bang.
This Friday, 18 September, the world’s largest martial arts organization will air ONE: A NEW BREED III. The show was previously recorded in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the main event, ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy will defend his coveted belt against Lion Fight World Champion Magnus “Crazy Viking” Andersson.
Petchmorakot will be a man on a mission come fight night.
The Petchyindee Academy star, who owns an astonishing professional record of 161-35-2 (1 NC), won the inaugural ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship in February by dominating Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym en route to a clear-cut unanimous decision.
Then in July at ONE: NO SURRENDER, he went toe-to-toe with “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex and defeated the legendary Thai by majority decision.
However, Petchmorakot was not entirely happy with his most recent performance. The 26-year-old wanted to make a statement to those who doubted him and prove once and for all that he deserves to hold the divisional gold.
He plans to get back to his finishing ways and make that definitive statement against a fellow World Champion in the headline attraction.

- Superlek’s Kicks Seal Win Over Khaled At ONE: A NEW BREED II
This may be Andersson’s promotional debut, but he is prepared for the battle ahead.
“Crazy Viking” hails from Sweden, but he eventually relocated to Thailand to develop his skills at the highly acclaimed Revolution Muay Thai Phuket camp.
The fighter, who trains under the watchful eye of head coach Tim Fisher, has compiled a 41-11 professional record and in August 2019, he knocked out Petchsanguan Sor. Thanasit to become the Lion Fight Super-Welterweight World Champion.
Now, the 26-year-old Swede has his eyes on more gold – the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title, to be exact – and he could pose tremendous problems for his Thai adversary.
The Revolution standout will enter this contest with massive knockout power and a 4-centimeter height advantage, making him the tallest opponent Petchmorakot has ever faced in ONE Super Series.
This five-bout card also features four other martial arts World Champions and a slew of big names who’ve combined for well over 1,000 victories in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts competition.
For instance, the event will mark the ONE debut of Petchtanong Petchfergus, a six-time Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion who holds a jaw-dropping professional record of 356-55-1.
Also, ONE: A NEW BREED III will feature the debut of three-time Muay Thai World Champion Capitan Petchyindee Academy, as well as the returns of Thai superstar Rika “Tiny Doll” Ishige and six-time Muay Thai World Champion Yodpanomrung “The Lightning Knee” Jitmuangnon.
