Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 102 On March 28
This Friday, March 28, the world’s largest martial arts organization will return to the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for another installment of its weekly Asia primetime event series.
As usual, the showcase is packed with barnburners, as ONE Friday Fights 102 features intriguing matchups across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA.
In the main event, surging striker Rambong Sor Therapat will collide with his Thai compatriot Pompet Panthonggym in a 130-pound Muay Thai contest that promises action for as long as it lasts.
The heavy-handed Rambong is entering the bout riding an incredible seven-fight winning streak at ONE Friday Fights and hopes to punch his ticket to ONE’s global roster with a victory over his battle-tested opponent.
Pompet, meanwhile, has proven he belongs among the best of the best, but after suffering defeats in his most recent two appearances, he’ll be fighting with his back against the wall.
Before that, in flyweight Muay Thai action, Road to ONE: Thailand winner Dedduanglek Wankhongohm MBK will square off with Pettonglor Sitluangpeenumfon.
Both athletes have established themselves among Muay Thai’s most promising and exciting young talents, and fans can expect a technical yet fast-paced firefight.
Lower on the card, teenage prodigy Rudy Da Silva returns to meet Kenan Bayramov in an explosive 160-pound Muay Thai scrap.
Only turning 18 years old this week, Scotland’s Da Silva shined in his promotional debut last December, scoring an emphatic decision win over Kaisei Sato. He’ll aim to further cement himself as a bona fide phenom against the hard-hitting Bayramov.
The card will also play host to some world-class MMA, as Filipino finisher Marwin “Green Goblin” Quirante battles Russian knockout artist Torpechi Dongak at strawweight.
Quirante has rattled off two wins and two highlight-reel finishes so far in ONE, but he’s in for a serious challenge against Dongak, who boasts a wealth of high-level kickboxing experience to complement his ever-evolving grappling game.
