Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 31 On September 1
ONE Friday Fights 31 is bringing another thrilling bout card to the famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on September 1.
With a stacked bill of elite Muay Thai, bolstered by cameos from mixed martial arts and kickboxing, the crowd in Bangkok, Thailand, will be treated to another action-packed showcase in Asia primetime.
In the main event, Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongthoranee Sor Sommai is back to face Sherzod Kabutov in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown.
Kongthoranee has scored two stunning knockouts en route to a 3-1 slate in ONE so far.
Another emphatic victory could put the exciting Thai slugger’s name among the division’s elite, but Kabutov is aiming to steal the momentum with his dangerous skill set and unorthodox arsenal.
Also on the card is a flyweight Muay Thai clash between Puengluang Baanramba and Seksan Fairtex, with entertainment written all over it.
Between them, the heavy hitters have competed in three ONE Friday Fights bouts, delivering a knockout finish in each one, so fans should not take their eyes off the battle for a second.
In a featured contest, former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Alaverdi Ramazanov meets Italian striker Alessandro Sara in Muay Thai action.
Ramazanov has consistently gone up against elite foes in both Muay Thai and kickboxing, but he’ll be eager to get back on track following a pair of losses.
Earlier, the lone kickboxing bout will take place between Huo Xiaolong and Lucas Cecchetti at strawweight.
Plus, two MMA fights between exciting upstars are set to open the show.
Gadzhimurad Gasanguseinov will bring a 13-1 professional record into his matchup with Ilimbek Akylbek Uulu (7-1), while Kurbanali Isabekov (9-1) and Abdukodir Abduvorisov (5-1) will kick-start the proceedings in Bangkok.
