Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 33 On September 15
ONE Friday Fights 33 is bringing another action-packed Asia primetime event to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
The card on September 15 features 11 elite-level Muay Thai contests and a pair of MMA bouts that will ignite the crowd in Bangkok, Thailand.
As always, “the art of eight limbs” will take center stage with Yod-IQ PK Saenchai battling Alexey Balyko in a 150-pound catchweight Muay Thai main event.
Yod-IQ has amassed a perfect 2-0 slate in ONE Friday Fights to date, scoring a stoppage win over Samuel Bielen in his debut, before defeating Mavlud Tupiev via decision.
Working alongside the likes of ONE World Champions Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Prajanchai PK Saenchai, the 21-year-old phenom is aiming to join his superstar teammates at the top.
However, debuting Russian striker Balyko knows he can make a major statement by stopping the rapid ascent of his upcoming opponent.
The 30-year-old Tiger Muay Thai representative can also count a ONE World Champion among his training partners – regularly sparring with bantamweight MMA king Fabricio Andrade – so he’ll be ready for the intensity of a top-level rival.
Among the other Muay Thai battles, Panthep VK Khaoyai’s 124-pound catchweight tilt against Chalamkhao PK Saenchai is one to watch out for.
Panthep is a three-division Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion who has proven himself among the best, but after losing to Stephen Irvine last time out, the 21-year-old is hungry to get back on the winning track.
Chalamkhao has gone 1-1 in a pair of exciting appearances in ONE Friday Fights, and he’ll look to score with his punishing elbows against his decorated compatriot.
There are plenty more intriguing clashes, including a matchup between Lebanon’s comeback king Abdallah Ondash and Palangboon Wor Santai, along with Turkish WBC Muay Thai World Champion Zehra Dogan squaring off with Junior Fairtex.
In the MMA bouts opening the show, Pakistan’s Ismail Khan meets Korea’s Cho Joon Gun, and Russia’s Torepchi Dongak faces Nepal’s Rabindra Dhant.
