Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 43 On December 1
The world’s largest martial arts organization is once again ready for a return to Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Set to air live in Asia primetime, ONE Friday Fights 43 goes down on December 1, and fans won’t want to miss a moment of the fiery Muay Thai and MMA action.
In the all-Thai headliner, Pettonglor Sitluangpeenumfon will look to extend his pristine ONE Friday Fights record to 3-0 when he squares off with dangerous striker Kongsuk Fairtex in an intriguing flyweight Muay Thai clash.
While each fighter is just 23 years old, they have established themselves as two of the sport’s rapidly rising stars, and a main event victory would propel either man closer to a coveted six-figure ONE Championship contract.
In other flyweight Muay Thai action, Kongthoranee Sor Sommai – who’s gone 5-1 in ONE Friday Fights – will aim to give a rude welcome to promotional newcomer Parsa Aminpour.
Kongthoranee comes into the contest riding high after perhaps the biggest win of his career, a decision victory over longtime ONE superstar Taiki Naito in October.
Lower on the card, 20-year-old striking prodigies Aslamjon Ortikov and Chatanan Sor Jor Joyprajin will battle in a 129-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout that has fans salivating.
Hailing from Uzbekistan, Ortikov boasts an unblemished 16-0 career record and has looked nothing short of dominant through his two appearances at ONE Friday Fights, earning the reputation as a potential future World Champion.
But standing in his way is Chatanan, who has scored two straight highlight-reel stoppages at ONE Friday Fights, proving he has all the tools to deserve the hype train.
Also, world-class MMA will be on display, as ONE Warrior Series graduate Dave “Kintas” Bangguigui squares off with ultra-skilled Japanese veteran Ryosuke Honda in a strawweight showdown.
A prodigious athlete with ruthless finishing instincts on both the feet and floor, the Filipino phenom is poised to make a run in the talent-laden strawweight MMA division, but he’ll have his hands full against Honda.
The well-rounded 32-year-old has made a name for himself on the elite proving grounds of the Japanese MMA scene and will now look to make waves on the global stage of ONE Championship.
The rest of the card features a number of both Thai and international martial arts stars, including Chinese scrapper “The Eagle of Yi” Jiduo Yibu, Team Mehdi Zatout’s Mustafa Al Tekreeti, and surging Thai veteran Chanajon PK Saenchai.
