Full Card Revealed For ONE Friday Fights 98 On February 28

Chartpayak Saksatoon Petnamngam PK Saenchai ONE Friday Fights 80 33

After a one-week break, the hottest weekly series in combat sports will return to your screens in Asia primetime this Friday, February 28.

ONE Friday Fights 98 features a dozen high-octane Muay Thai and MMA contests, as more hungry competitors look to earn a US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the main event, surging striker Chartpayak Saksatoon hopes to go 6-0 in ONE when he meets Thai compatriot Kongchai Chanaidonmueang in a strawweight Muay Thai battle.

Chartpayak has set the standard since debuting in ONE Friday Fights, producing four knockouts against the likes of Pornsanae Sor Phumipat and Petnamngam PK Saenchai while also winning a three-round decision over Kompet Fairtex in his most recent bout.

On the other side, former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongchai is a highly respected combatant, but he’s hit a rough patch in recent ONE Friday Fights outings.

The long-limbed scrapper won his first four fights convincingly. However, he’s struggled to keep hold of momentum ever since, pocketing a mixed bag of results. He lost a narrow decision to Ramadan Ondash this past January at ONE Friday Fights 93 and is hungry to change his fortunes in the year ahead.

Also on the card, undefeated Russian upstart Asadula Imangazaliev welcomes ONE newcomer Mohamed Taoufyq to the fold in flyweight Muay Thai action.

Boasting an unblemished record of 7-0, Imangazaliev has wasted no time introducing himself to ONE fans. The 21-year-old has carved out three first-round finishes in as many promotional appearances – including two with highlight-reel spinning backfists.

But Taoufyq is also full of momentum and aiming to back up the hype. He is entering the promotion as the 2024 Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, holding a professional record of 15-3.

Earlier, a pair of MMA bouts will open the show as profound finisher Avazbek Kholmirzaev looks to build on his return to winning ways against Kazakhstan’s Bolat Zamanbekov in 128-pound catchweight action, while Sumit Bhyan welcomes Connor Tymon in a lightweight throwdown.
