Ham Vs. Stamp, Hirata Vs. Phogat Confirmed For Atomweight GP Semis
The global fan base has spoken, and the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix semifinals have been decided.
During the live broadcast of ONE: REVOLUTION this past Friday, the fan-voted semifinal matchups were revealed.
The first contest will be a battle of the grapplers, as Japanese judoka Itsuki “Android 18” Hirata squares off against wrestling dynamo Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat.
And the second bout will feature a clash of two elite strikers, as South Korean veteran Ham Seo Hee takes on Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex.
These matches will go down at ONE: NEXTGEN on 29 October.
The quarterfinal round of the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix officially kicked off at the promotion’s inaugural all-female event, ONE: EMPOWER, on 3 September.
At the show, Hirata defeated American debutant Alyse “Lil’ Savage” Anderson, and Phogat beat Chinese knockout artist Meng Bo, both via unanimous decision, to advance to the next round.
In the other quarterfinals, Stamp earned her redemption against Ukrainian grappling sensation Alyona Rassohyna, and Ham edged out top-ranked contender Denice “Lycan Queen” Zamboanga to earn the final two spots in the next round. Those razor-close matches ended via split decision.

Following the historic event, ONE gave fans a week to vote and decide on the tournament’s semifinal matchups.
And now that the bouts have been set, the four athletes will begin to focus and prepare for their upcoming matches, with each one hoping to secure a place in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship Final later this year.
The ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Champion will receive the tournament’s customary silver belt and a World Title shot at the division’s reigning queen, “Unstoppable” Angela Lee.
