Izagakhmaev, Ikeda, Vandaryeva Earn ONE: HEAVY HITTERS Bonuses

Saygid Izagakhmaev celebrates his big win at ONE: HEAVY HITTERS.

Three ONE: HEAVY HITTERS bonuses were awarded shortly after ONE Championship’s first event of 2022.

Following the show in Singapore, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced that Dagestani phenom Saygid Izagakhmaev, Japanese star Senzo Ikeda, and Belarusian Muay Thai striker Ekaterina “Barbie” Vandaryeva each earned US$50,000 cash prizes for their gameness and constant search for the finish throughout their respective fights.

Izagakhmaev, the highly touted protege of MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov, submitted former ONE World Title challenger James Nakashima via head and arm triangle in the second round of his promotional debut.

Ikeda thrilled in his contest with Elipitua “The Magician” Siregar, knocking out the Indonesian strawweight with a thunderous body shot.

Vandaryeva didn’t fare as well in her matchup.

The Belarusian suffered a split-decision loss to teenage sensation Supergirl, but her determined performance and warrior spirit won over the hearts of the fans in attendance at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
