Two of ONE Championship’s most electrifying strikers will soon throw down in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout that promises fireworks for as long as it lasts.

On January 12, former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John “Hands of Stone” Lineker will square off against English icon Liam “Hitman” Harrison at ONE Fight Night 18 on Prime Video, which airs live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Both men are fan favorites who are revered for their never-say-die, brawling approaches to combat.

With 18 highlight-reel knockouts to his name, Lineker has rightfully earned his reputation as one of the hardest pound-for-pound punchers to ever compete in MMA.

Lineker used that show-stopping power to claim the ONE Bantamweight MMA World Championship back in March 2022 when he knocked out long-reigning titleholder Bibiano Fernandes.

“Hands of Stone” would lose that belt to current divisional king Fabricio Andrade, but he returned to peak form with back-to-back wins over top contenders in the second half of 2023.

The Brazilian will now put his ruthless striking to the ultimate test in his professional Muay Thai debut against one of the finest fighters in the history of the sport.

A veteran of well over 100 career bouts and a four-time World Champion, Harrison has been a mainstay of the elite Muay Thai scene for many years.

Through it all, he’s proven to be one of the sport’s most entertaining stars. His unforgettable April 2022 battle against Muangthai PK Saenchai was named ONE’s Muay Thai Fight of the Year and is only a small taste of the action that “Hitman” brings in every appearance.

That victory earned the 38-year-old veteran a crack at then-reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama. And while he would come up short in that contest, Harrison remains a top talent and must-see television.

Given each man’s propensity for high-paced exchanges and fearless brawling, fans can expect plenty of white-knuckle action on January 12.
