Kryklia Vs. Azizpour III For Heavyweight Gold Tops ONE: NEXTGEN
ONE Championship will crown its first-ever heavyweight kickboxing king on Friday, 29 October.
That evening, light heavyweight kickboxing titleholder Roman Kryklia will meet his longtime rival, Iraj Azizpour, for the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship in the main event of ONE: NEXTGEN.
Kryklia was originally scheduled to defend his ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title against Murat “The Butcher” Aygun, but the Dutch-Turkish slugger was forced to withdraw from the contest due to injury.
Instead, the Ukrainian colossus has been given the chance to claim the vacant heavyweight belt and become the first two-division ONE Kickboxing World Champion in history.
But standing in his way is Azizpour, who previously went the distance with Kryklia – twice.

When these two striking behemoths originally met in February 2018, Azizpour edged out the Ukrainian via majority decision to win the 2017 Kunlun Fight Heavyweight Tournament.
Kryklia gained his revenge in their next meeting a year later, as he beat the Iranian star via unanimous decision to claim the 2019 Kunlun Fight Super Heavyweight Tournament Championship.
Now, these athletes collide in a trilogy bout, and whoever emerges victorious will leave the Circle with the vacant ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title.
