Leandro Ataides Sends Final Warning To Reinier De Ridder
Reinier “The Dutch Knight” De Ridder predicts he will submit Leandro “Wolf” Ataides at ONE: WARRIOR’S CODE, but the Brazilian powerhouse believes he is mistaken.
A little more than a day before their co-main event match-up at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia, the 33-year-old from Rio de Janeiro sat down for an exclusive interview with ONE Championship announcer Dom Lau to give his final thoughts on the contest.
The undefeated athlete from the Netherlands has earned all 11 of his wins by stoppage, including eight via tapout, and has planned a second-round finish this Friday, 7 February, but Ataides says he is on another level to De Ridder’s previous opponents.

“He’ll have to wait for the first round because I don’t think it’s going past the first round. I am a BJJ World Champion, so it’s going to be hard for him to submit me,” he says.
Check out the video above for much more from “Wolf,” including his plan to prioritize his grappling over his knockout power, his respect for his upcoming opponent, and a potential future bout against Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang for the ONE Middleweight World Title.
