Malykhin, Haggerty, Woo Earn ONE: BAD BLOOD Performance Bonuses
Three superstars took home performance bonuses for their highlight-reel showings at ONE: BAD BLOOD in Singapore on Friday, 11 February.
ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong awarded US$50,000 prizes to #2-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Jonathan “The General” Haggerty and promotional newcomer “Dynamic” Woo Sung Hoon.
Sityodtong also awarded a pair of US$50,000 bonuses to newly crowned ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin.
Malykhin earned his six-figure prize by knocking out Kirill Grishenko with a blistering right hook in the second round of the ONE: BAD BLOOD main event.
By doing so, the undefeated Russian captured the ONE Interim Heavyweight World Title.
In addition, Haggerty secured a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over #4-ranked Mongkolpetch Petchyindee.
The Englishman’s relentless pressure, fierce stand-up arsenal, gameness, and constant search for the finish helped him bag a cool US$50,000 bonus.
Finally, Woo earned his bonus for a remarkable debut in the organization.
The South Korean finished Thai striking sensation Yodkaikaew “Y2K” Fairtex in just 18 seconds, the second-fastest knockout in the history of ONE’s flyweight mixed martial arts division.
