Nong-O Vs. Rodlek, Kryklia Vs. Aygun To Headline December Live Shows

ONE World Champions Nong-O-Gaiyanghadao and Roman Kryklia will headline the December 2020 live shows!

ONE Championship is going back to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for its final two live shows of 2020 – and a World Title bout will headline each card.

First, ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion Roman Kryklia will defend his belt against Murat “The Butcher” Aygun at ONE: BIG BANG on Friday, 4 December.

Two weeks later, ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will defend his gold against Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym at ONE: COLLISION COURSE on Friday, 18 December.

Kryklia, who owns a 45-7 professional record, had the best possible start to his career in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

In his promotional debut last November, the Ukrainian colossus avenged a prior loss to Tarik “The Tank” Khbabez by knocking out the Dutch-Moroccan powerhouse to claim the inaugural ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title.

Now, Kryklia will make his first title defense against Aygun, a Dutch-Turkish juggernaut who could spoil the giant’s reign with a single punch.

Aygun, an ISKA Super Heavyweight World Champion who owns a 16-1 professional record, is a global superstar who will be making his highly anticipated promotional debut in “The Lion City.”

Though he will be surrendering a 7-centimeter height advantage to Kryklia, “The Butcher” possesses the power and technique to make an instant impact and win the gold in his grand premiere.

Two weeks after that battle of the titans, the global fan base will see the long-awaited matchup between Nong-O and fellow Thai star Rodlek.

Nong-O has been unstoppable since coming out of retirement to compete in ONE Super Series in April 2018.

The Evolve star, who owns a jaw-dropping 261-54-1 career record, won his first two contests in the global striking league and then claimed the inaugural ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship in March 2019.

Since then, Nong-O has successfully defended his belt three times. Most recently, he finished top-ranked contender Saemapetch Fairtex in November 2019, earning the ONE Super Series Knockout Of The Year in the process.

Although Nong-O is riding a six-bout winning streak, Rodlek believes he can be the man to take his compatriot’s belt.

Rodlek, who is known by his nickname “The Steel Locomotive,” defeated three consecutive opponents to earn a spot in the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament in August 2020.

After reaching the final due to an injury, he knocked down hard-hitting southpaw “Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai twice en route to a stunning unanimous decision victory.

By winning the tournament, Rodlek pushed his record to an astonishing 129-41-5, earned the division’s #2-ranked contender spot, and was awarded a shot at Nong-O’s coveted crown.

Rodlek PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym celebrates his victory in the ring at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES.

The full card for ONE: BIG BANG and ONE: COLLISION COURSE will be announced in the days to come, so keep your eyes locked to ONEFC.com.
