ONE Championship To Livestream ‘One World: Together At Home’ Global Music Special
ONE Championship has teamed up with longtime partner Global Citizen to support their Together At Home series, which seeks to take action against the rapid spread of COVID-19, as an official global broadcaster of the ‘One World: Together At Home‘ Global Music Special.
Together At Home seeks to provide entertainment, information, and unique content for people around the world who are playing their part in stopping the spread of COVID-19 by staying at home during the pandemic.
The ‘One World: Together At Home’ Global Music Special is the landmark event in the series, and it will feature appearances from several international superstars including Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Andrea Bocelli, Awkwafina, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Chris Martin, David & Victoria Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Maluma, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Pharrell Williams, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Smith, Shah Rukh Khan, Shawn Mendes, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Usher, and many more.
Hosted by late night television hosts Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel, and curated in collaboration with Lady GaGa, the colossal global broadcast will help raise funds for the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic — on top of the US$35 million that has already been raised.
The full event will be streamed live on Saturday, 18 April 2020 at 11:00 a.m. PDT/2:00 p.m. EDT/7:00 p.m. GMT/Sunday, 19 April 2020 at 2:00 a.m. SGT on the official ONE Championship Facebook and the ONE Super App.
It will rebroadcast on the official ONE Championship Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and ONE Super App in the 24 hours following the event.
Aside from this epic music spectacle, ONE Championship Vice President Miesha Tate and martial arts superstars Vitor Belfort, Brandon Vera, Demetrious Johnson, Alain Ngalani, Angela Lee, Christian Lee, Giorgio Petrosyan, Xiong Jing Nan, and Martin Nguyen are set to participate in the Together At Home initiative.
This elite group of martial artists will offer tips to stay active at home, give an insight into their home workouts, and answer fans’ questions on health and fitness.
In addition to that, ONE Championship is donating 10 percent of all net proceeds from its new online merchandise store, ONE.SHOP, to WHO’s COVID-Solidarity Fund and other local community organizations to help those impacted by the outbreak.
The pandemic is affecting people all around the world, but these combined efforts show that everybody is in the battle together and trying to help support those who are most in need.
