Hot off the heels of last week’s doubleheader, ONE Friday Fights 104 delivered another night of memorable moments when the world’s largest martial arts organization returned to Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium.

Twelve more contests across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA went down on April 11, with plenty more knockouts and nail-biting contests served up for fans around the world.

Chartpayak Slays Kompet For Seventh Straight Win

Chartpayak Saksatoon put a stamp on his feud with Kompet Fairtex by going 2-0 via a second-round knockout in their strawweight Muay Thai rematch.

Given their first meeting back at ONE Friday Fights 86, both men entered the fray cautiously, trading leg kicks in the opening exchanges. But Chartpayak took the initiative first and landed clean counterstrikes to steer ahead.

It all changed in the second frame, though, as the Kiatpet star went after Kompet and connected with several sharp left hands that sent the two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion to the mat. 

Kompet tried to recover, stumbling to his feet, but the referee had seen enough to call an end to the contest at 0:51 of round two.

With the win, Chartpayak moved to a perfect 7-0 in ONE Championship and 68-15 overall in his career.

Satangthong Edges Past Sanpet In Three-Round War

Sanpet Sor Salacheep Satangthong Chor Hapayak ONE Friday Fights 104 18

Satangthong Chor Hapayak dug deep against Sanpet Sor Salacheep in their 130-pound Muay Thai battle.

The 18-year-old was on the receiving end of Sanpet’s combos in the first round, but his durability was second to none. 

He brought the same approach into the second stanza while eating his opponent’s best shots. However, his movement allowed him to turn the tide and unsettle the Sor Salacheep man with everything out of the “art of eight limbs” textbook.

Satangthong stayed crafty in attack as the final stanza unfolded. Though he went to town with his roundhouse kicks and fists, Sanpet gave him a run for his money until the final bell.

When all was said and done, two of the three judges awarded Satangthong his 48th career triumph by split decision.

Decho Outguns Isannuea Via A Hard-Nosed Split-Decision

Isannuea Tor Tanjaroen Decho Por Borirak ONE Friday Fights 104 23

Decho Por Borirak displayed maximum tenacity in his ONE Championship debut to score a hard-fought split-decision win over Isannuea RanongMuayThai in their 130-pound Muay Thai tussle.

After a fiery opening round, both fighters caught fire in the second and unleashed pure venom in their combinations.

Isannuea worked behind his boxing and bloodied Decho underneath the left eye with a series of punishing elbows up close.

The Singha Mawynn affiliate retaliated in the third round and broke his fellow Thai striker’s guard with multiple two-punch combinations.

Decho continued his gritty work in the final minute and clocked the RanongMuayThai man with brutal combinations, which ultimately swayed two of the judges to award him his 46th career victory.

Kritpet Survives Late Scare For Second Win In ONE

Petlampun Muadablampang Kritpet PK Saenchai ONE Friday Fights 104 19

Kritpet PK Saenchai’s heart was tested by Petlampun Muadablampang, but the Thai striker prevailed to earn his second ONE Championship win in their 126-pound Muay Thai battle .

The 25-year-old took charge of the bout in the early going, landing punches and body kicks on his compatriot to get off to a roaring start. 

In the second frame, Kritpet lured Petlampun in and landed strong counterstrikes, eventually dropping him with a huge left hook that gave his rival a mountain to climb on the scorecards. 

As the bout entered the final minutes, the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym product was caught out when Petlampun came charging at him with multiple combinations.

Luckily, Kritpet remained composed to take home the unanimous decision and moved to 72-19 overall.

Pet Drops Khunsuk Three Times En Route To Thrilling Finish

Pet Suanluangrodyok survived an onslaught from Khunsuk Mor Krungthepthonburi’s ferocious fists in the opening round to wrap things up in style in the second canto of their 114-pound Muay Thai battle.

The Sitsarawatseur upstart found his rhythm and charged forward with power and precision, unloading with a mix of punches and elbows to knock down the highlight-reel machine early in round two.

Khunsuk survived the count, but he was sent to the canvas again seconds later off a stinging right uppercut. 

Pet then used that same weapon – this time paired with a hook – to floor his dance partner for the third time and emerge victorious via TKO at 2:24 of the second round, moving his record to 44-10.

Petninmungkorn Starches Kochasit To Go 4-0 In ONE

Petninmungkorn NamkangIceland remained perfect in his ONE Championship run when he knocked out Kochasit Tasaeyasat in the third round of their atomweight Muay Thai showdown.

After a back-and-forth opening round, the 27-year-old unloaded boxing combinations and dropped Kochasit with a scientific left hook to the jaw in the second round.

Petninmungkorn continued his assault early in the third when he floored his fellow Thai striker again with a textbook counter elbow.

Smelling blood in the air, Petninmungkorn ended the Wor Auracha man’s night with a vicious left hook 34 seconds into the third round.

With the highlight-reel finish, The Captain Kane Boxing Gym and Singha Wangcha affiliate moved to 4-0 in the organization and 64-21 overall.

Khunponnoi Outshines Sonrak In Three-Round Thriller

Sonrak Fairtex Khunponnoi Sor Sommai ONE Friday Fights 104 29

Khunponnoi Sor Sommai extended his winning streak to three in a row when he outstruck Sonrak Fairtex in their flyweight Muay Thai barnburner.

The opening stanza saw a tentative affair play out as the duo found their footing. But it was Khunponnoi who continued to push the pace and lead the way with elbows and body kicks in the pocket.

Sonrak came alive in the second frame, but Khunponnoi decided to fight fire with fire and turn the contest into a phonebooth fight, landing elbows and knees in the clinch. 

In the final round, the 32-year-old ate a huge head kick from Sonrak that would’ve floored many men. However, he shook it off to continue landing crisp right and left punches, which ultimately earned him the split-decision win that moved his record to 123-33.

Hemetsberger Earns Six-Figure Deal With KO Of Romanowski

Stella Hemetsberger scored an impressive knockout win over Vanessa Romanowski and, to make matters sweeter, a US$100,000 contract to compete on the main roster of the world’s largest martial arts organization.

The Austrian warrior was forced to play counter-attack in the strawweight Muay Thai contest, but she fought brilliantly off the backfoot and timed her match-winning moment to perfection.

Hemetsberger caught her debuting foe with a counter left hook and followed up with a right kick to the rib cage that ended proceedings at 1:44 of the opening stanza.

Her overall resume moved to 8-1, including 3-0 in ONE Friday Fights, and she’ll now look to scale to greater heights on ONE’s main roster.

Bauza Unleashes Unholy Power In Brutal TKO Of Remidi

Angel “Ironside” Bauza secured a ruthless TKO win over Zohir Remidi in their featherweight Muay Thai clash.

The debuting Argentine wasted no time introducing himself to the ONE Championship fanbase, as he went into a blind fury to drop Remidi with a furious barrage of punches near the ropes.

The bloodied Remidi, who was far too tough for his own good, tried to mount a desperate comeback with a couple of futile spinning backfists. But those strikes only enraged “Ironside” further.

The 26-year-old brawler continued his onslaught and clocked Remidi with a stiff straight left, forcing the referee to stop the match 2:42 into the opening round.

With the win, Bauza improved to 22-4 in his career.

Naruo Puts On Kickboxing Clinic, Scores First-Round TKO

Hiroki Naruo followed up on his thrilling debut last year with a sensational first-round technical knockout over Alber Da Silva in 139-pound kickboxing.

The Japanese slugger immediately pressed Da Silva, landing body kicks to send his man reeling before putting the Brazilian down with a perfect overhand right. 

Naruo knew he had the momentum, and seconds later, he sunk his man again with a crisp left hook. Da Silva made it back to his feet, but not for long as the Kyudo Kaikan product trapped his man in the corner to seal the stoppage at 1:54 of round one via a brutal flurry of punches.

The win was Naruo’s 15th of his career, and he moved to 2-0 in ONE Championship as a result.

Suleymanov Ekes Out Win In Tight Battle With Marareskul

Konstantin Marareskul Ramazan Suleymanov ONE Friday Fights 104 23

In featherweight MMA, Ramazan Suleymanov took a hard-earned split-decision win over Konstantin Marareskul.

The Team Mehdi Zatout debutant banked on his world-class grappling throughout the 15-minute war, drubbing his foe with elbows, knees, and punches every time he landed in top mount after a huge takedown.

Despite controlling most of the tie, he had his work cut out for by a spirited Marareskul, who had his fair share of swift combinations on the feet.

The Moldavian also threw in a Hail Mary late in the third canto, but Suleymanov reestablished his dominance with another takedown and ground-and-pound sequence to impress two of the ringside judges and move to 9-0 in his career. 

Mizoguchi Mauls Isidro In Electric ONE Championship Debut

Tsukasa Mizoguchi had a banger of a ONE Championship debut, scoring a vicious first-round knockout win over Ezekiel Isidro in their flyweight MMA match.

The Japanese standout was calculated in his approach early in the fight, and was forced to fight off the backfoot amid Isidro’s early offense.

Isidro measured Mizoguchi with his lunging combinations, but the Black Rose gym affiliate switched gears and clocked the Filipino with a right cross.

Mizoguchi then chased Isidro to the corner before unleashing a venomous left hook that led to an unstoppable barrage of ground-and-pound.

As a result, the referee called a stop to the contest with one second left in the opening round, handing Mizoguchi the fourth win of his burgeoning career.
