Regian Eersel Vs. Alexis Nicolas World Title Trilogy Showdown Booked For ONE Fight Night 30

A massive ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title trilogy bout between reigning two-sport king Regian “The Immortal” Eersel and former champion Alexis “Barboza” Nicolas is set for ONE Fight Night 30: Kryklia vs. Knowles on Prime Video at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
That five-round clash will air live in U.S. primetime this Friday, April 4, and it will serve as the co-main event to the ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Championship showdown.
Eersel and Nicolas represent the planet’s top two lightweight kickboxers, and they have already shared the ring for 30 minutes of fast-paced, back-and-forth action.
When they first collided in April 2024, “The Immortal” was the reigning ONE Lightweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion. He was riding an absurd seven-year winning streak and firmly cemented as one of the striking world’s most dominant forces.
Nicolas, meanwhile, was an unbeaten sensation but still just a single bout into his ONE tenure when he scored a stunning decision win over the Surinamese superstar to capture the kickboxing crown at ONE Fight Night 21.
In their rematch six months later, Eersel earned his revenge against the Frenchman with a fiery yet clinical performance that highlighted the full breadth of his all-around kickboxing game.
With that unanimous decision win, Eersel once again became a two-sport ONE World Champion and set the stage for an epic rubber match.
The first two battles between “The Immortal” and “Barboza” were firefights, both featuring plenty of technical exchanges, momentum swings, and drama. Given that history, fans should plan for another unforgettable battle in their rivalry-deciding showdown.
