Sean Climaco Vs. Akif Guluzada Flyweight Muay Thai Contest Added To ONE Fight Night 31

ONE Fight Night 31: Kongthoranee vs. Nong-O II on Prime Video is rapidly approaching, and the May 2 U.S. primetime card keeps getting better and better.
At Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium, teenage phenom Akif “King” Guluzada will square off with Road to ONE: America tournament winner Sean “The One” Climaco in a flyweight Muay Thai bout that’s destined to deliver fireworks for as long as it lasts.
The 19-year-old Guluzada reeled off a trio of thrilling victories at the ONE Friday Fights event series, capped by a Knockout of the Year candidate against Puengluang Baanramba to earn himself a US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE’s global roster.
The preternaturally talented Team Mehdi Zatout product will look to continue his meteoric rise in this much-anticipated U.S. primetime debut, but he’s been given no easy task at ONE Fight Night 31.
For his part, Climaco displayed devastating one-punch power to knock out Josue Cruz in his promotional debut last May.
While he would suffer a defeat to undefeated superstar and current top-five contender Johan Estupinan in his next appearance, the Californian bounced back with a hard-fought decision win over fellow American striker Diego Paez last time out.
In terms of style, fans are in for a treat when these two flyweight standouts share the ring.
Guluzada is a true buzzsaw of activity and a ruthless finisher who’s proven to carry knockout power in his hands, kicks, knees, and elbows.
Climaco, meanwhile, is never one to back down from a brawl. Given his thunderous straight punches, never-ending forward pressure, and willingness to trade heavy leather, fans should look forward to a barnburner on May 2.
