Kompet Fairtex and Kongchai Chanaidonmueang went the distance in the main event, and the strawweight Muay Thai clash was filled with nonstop action right until the final bell.
Kongchai’s flurry of strikes allowed him to find multiple openings in the early stages of the headline attraction, but Kompet brought similar fire and replied with weapons of his own, especially his stinging straight rights.
Although Kongchai’s pressure eventually slowed down his rival at the midway point of the match, the Fairtex Training Center representative stuck to his gameplan and impressed with a final salvo of attacks late in the third frame to wrap up the contest.
After three hard-hitting rounds, Kompet earned a well-deserved unanimous decision win. In doing so, he pushed his professional slate to 85-19-3 and handed his Thai compatriot his first blemish under the ONE Friday Fights banner.
Siasarani Stuns Thai Icon Sitthichai To Earn Fourth Straight Win
Mohammed Siasarani might’ve just catapulted his name to international stardom.
The 21-year-old phenom defeated #2-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender and kickboxing icon Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong by unanimous decision in their featherweight Muay Thai showdown – and it was nothing short of epic.
The victory came after the Iranian dropped Sitthichai for an eight-count in the second round. The Thai legend answered the call and tried to keep the fight as close as possible. However, Siasarani, in his hour of power, ate everything “Killer Kid” threw and made him pay on the counters.
With the upset, the Team Mehdi Zatout standout earned his 22nd career victory and his fourth win at ONE Friday Fights.
Anane Starches Nakrob To Return To Winning Ways
Former two-division WBC Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane faced many critics after his promotional debut this past June, and the lanky combatant emphatically silenced them all by knocking out Nakrob Fairtex in their flyweight Muay Thai battle on Friday night.
The Thai-Algerian dynamo utilized his lengthy reach from the get-go. Pattering Nakrob with textbook combinations, Anane eventually dropped his Thai adversary with a massive right hand with only a second remaining in the first stanza.
But while Nakrob’s fortune allowed him to see the second frame, Anane swarmed the Fairtex Training Center product once more. And at 1:08 of round two, another right hand landed flush to send Nakrob down to the canvas for good.
That knockout victory moved the Thai-Algerian’s record to 34-5-1.
Dentungtong Dissects Denpayak In Flyweight War
Dentungtong Singha Mawynn was on the front foot throughout his captivating flyweight Muay Thai battle with Denpayak Detpetsrithong, and that nonstop offensive attack secured him a clear-cut unanimous decision.
The Singha Mawynn product landed clean straights, hooks, and uppercuts whenever he was in range. Aside from his huge boxing output, he followed through with kicks and knees to the lower portion of Denpayak’s frame.
As the match progressed, Dentungtong’s confidence grew every time he marched forward – and that further convinced all three judges to score the contest in his favor.
With the win, the 21-year-old phenom improved his record to 74-18-2.
Petpairin Takes Out Kritpet In Three-Round Battle
Petpairin Sor Jor Tongprachin appeared to have stumbled upon the magic formula for debut success on Friday night – and it came in the form of pure aggression and powerful right hands.
The rough and ready 26-year-old met Kritpet PK Saenchai in 124-pound catchweight Muay Thai action and, from the opening bell, never let off the gas.
Petpairin took the fight to his Thai compatriot and shook him up with strong punches, full blast, like a piston that broke through its casing.
The Singpatong standout’s output across three rounds was enough to sway all the judges. He got the unanimous decision nod and earned his 56th career victory.
Suablack’s Left Uppercut Flattens Suzuki
Suablack Tor Pran49 extended his perfect run under the ONE Friday Fights banner with a walk-off knockout in his bantamweight Muay Thai clash.
The Tor Pran49 representative dictated the action from the sound of the opening bell, unloading at will and even dropping Shinji Suzuki with a left elbow off the clinch at the halfway mark of the first round.
Soon, he shifted gears, and the inevitable followed.
Suablack closed the distance behind his explosive weapons and fired off a barrage of right uppercuts that sent the Japanese athlete to the canvas. Just seconds after the restart, the Thai striker baited his rival into a fistfight, which allowed him to land a missile-like left uppercut that flattened Suzuki at the 1:35 mark of the second stanza.
The statement-making finish – his third successive knockout on the global stage – elevated his record to 57-18.
Ota Puts On Striking Clinic Against Blommaert
It may have been Takuma Ota’s first time in 4-ounce gloves, but it wasn’t a problem for the Japanese star, as he went three hard rounds with Jelte Blommaert and earned the unanimous decision nod in their 126-pound catchweight Muay Thai showdown.
Blommaert appeared comfortable in the very beginning, as he unleashed brutal combinations in the first stanza and made it difficult for the 24-year-old to find his range.
It was a much different story in the second and third rounds, however. Ota adjusted, put his rival on the back foot, and blitzed Blommaert’s body and head with clinical combinations. The pressure was ultimately too much for the Belgian slugger.
That unanimous decision victory moved Ota’s record to 55-8-2 and launched his ONE campaign on a high note.
Morais Caldas Blasts Jelevan For Second-Round Stoppage
Rhuam Felipe Morais Caldas put on a show in his promotional debut, as he knocked down and finished Malaysian striker Kabilan Jelevan in their flyweight Muay Thai clash.
The two fighters wasted no time in the opening frame, as they exchanged furious blows throughout the initial three-minute period. But in the second stanza, the Brazilian started to truly flash his skills in the boxing department.
Unafraid to throw heavy leather, Morais Caldas found a home for his thunderous right hand and knocked down his Malaysian rival. Jelevan returned to his feet and quickly beat the referee’s eight-count, but the 24-year-old Brazilian would overwhelm him with more uppercuts, hooks, and body shots to force the TKO stoppage at 1:41 of round two.
With the victory, Morais Caldas pushed his record to 55-5-3.
Diachkova Takes Third Straight Win With Decision Over Brady
Hannah Brady and Natalia Diachkova brought the house down in their strawweight Muay Thai duel, giving it their all until the final bell.
Diachkova’s ability to fight off the back foot allowed her to land fierce combinations throughout the clash. Brady, however, continued to trade strike-for-strike, even surviving a standing eight-count in the second frame.
Though Brady picked up the pace in the final three minutes, it was never enough to slow down the Russian dynamo, who continued to connect with shots to the body and face. Ultimately, all three judges recognized Diachkova’s work and awarded her the unanimous decision.
The victory moved the Russian’s record to 29-4 and extended her perfect run to 3-0 under the ONE Friday Fights banner.
Podrugin Submits Pastore With Nasty Guillotine Choke
A pair of unbeaten mixed martial artists locked horns in the second bout of the evening, and it was Russian juggernaut Ivan Podrugin who submitted New York’s Brett Pastore and ruined his perfect record.
The lightweight MMA clash was a grappling clinic from the very beginning. Both men had their moments in the opening stanza, but Podrugin’s patience allowed him to find pivotal opportunities, as he took the American’s back and later dropped heavy ground strikes from the full mount position.
But the biggest opportunity presented itself in round two, as the 22-year-old Russian locked in a nasty guillotine choke to force Pastore to tap out at the 1:53 mark of the stanza.
That submission victory improved Podrugin’s record to 5-0 and jump-started his promotional run in epic fashion.
Seyid’s Grappling Secures Decision Over Marareskul
ONE Friday Fights 32 kicked off with a bantamweight MMA showdown between undefeated rising stars, as promotional newcomer Isfak “General” Seyid collided with Moldovan standout Konstantin Marareskul.
A talented judo black belt, Seyid’s powerful takedowns and relentless grappling attack were on full display over the course of three high-paced rounds.
While Marareskul never showed signs of quitting and consistently worked back to his feet, the Turkish warrior’s aggression and overwhelming pressure helped him earn the unanimous decision victory.
With the win, the 26-year-old judoka elevated his unblemished MMA record to 5-0.
