ONE Championship has lined up a blockbuster card for its return to Manila, Philippines on Friday, 23 November.

ONE: CONQUEST OF CHAMPIONS boasts a staggering number of international superstars who are ready to showcase their skills in mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and Muay Thai bouts.

A pair of highly anticipated World Title matches will make up the night’s main events at the Mall Of Asia Arena, featuring two national heroes who will compete in front of their home fans.

In the headline match, ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera (15-7, 1 NC) will defend his belt for the first time in almost two years against Italy’s Mauro “The Hammer” Cerilli (12-2).

The co-feature will see Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang (20-6) face Evolve’s Amir Khan (11-3) for the vacant ONE Lightweight World Title.

Before those incredible matches take place, this stacked undercard of contests is set to excite the Filipino fans in the venue, and the millions watching around the world.

Filipino Heroes Return Home

Former ONE Featherweight World Champion Honorio “The Rock” Banario (13-7) will return to the Mall Of Asia Arena on 23 November.

The Team Lakay veteran has been outstanding in the world’s largest martial arts organization since he made the move to lightweight, and he will face South Korea’s “Crazy Dog” Dae Sung Park (8-2, 1 NC).

The last time Banario competed in Manila, he put on one of the most outstanding displays of his career in his defeat of Adrian “The Hunter” Pang by decision at ONE: HEROES OF HONOR.

He will aim for another stirring performance against the ONE Warrior Series alumnus from MOB Training Center, who debuted on the main ONE roster with a dominant unanimous decision against Trestle Tan in July.

Before that encounter, Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado (7-3) will return to action against China’s Peng Xue Wen (6-4) in a strawweight match-up.

The 25-year-old will be in search of another stunning result to match his knockout of Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke in March, but he will square off against a man in hot form, who is coming off a win against Stefer Rahardian in September.

The final Filipino representative is 19-year-old Rockie Bactol (1-0), who will face fellow ONE Warrior Series (OWS) graduate Akihiro “Superjap” Fujisawa (4-0-1) in a battle of undefeated flyweights.

Elite Strikers Square Off In ONE Super Series

The continuing growth of ONE Super Series offers up even more of the best striking bouts anywhere in the world.

The UK’s finest Muay Thai export, Liam Harrison (84-22-2) is renowned internationally as an eight-time World Champion, and he will make his ONE debut.

He will face Thailand’s Saemapetch Fairtex (118-14-1), who wants to build on his successful maiden ONE performance in July by defeating the Brit to stake his claim for a bantamweight World Title shot.

Lithuania’s Deividas “The Lithuanian Savage” Danyla’s (46-11) spirited performance against Saemapetch in July will give him confidence ahead of a kickboxing battle with Japan’s Hiroaki Suzuki (40-11-1, 1NC), who enters ONE as a Shooto Boxing Lightweight World Champion.

A pair of exciting kickboxers will also collide, as Samy “AK47” Sana (132-8-1) of France and Armen Petrosyan (69-18-1) of Italy meet in a 73-kilogram catch weight clash.

The all-striking lineup is completed by another bantamweight Muay Thai match-up between Chinese and Malaysian athletes. ONE Super Series’ most active competitor Han Zi Hao (59-15) goes in search of his third win in the organization against “N41 Makik Urai” Azwan Che Wil (35-10).
