Thai Soccer Superstar Throws Support Behind Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai is inspiring legions of his compatriots to throw their support behind him, including one of Thailand’s biggest sports icons.
Ahead of his WBC Super Flyweight World Title defense in the main event of ONE: KINGDOM OF HEROES in Bangkok, Thailand, the boxing icon received a message of encouragement from soccer superstar Chanathip “Jay” Songkrasin.

“Let’s support Srisaket in the big fight to defend his WBC title on 6 October at Impact Arena, Muangthong Thani,” said Chanathip, in a post to his hundreds of thousands of followers on Facebook.
Chanathip is the star player of the Thai national team, and currently plays for Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in Japan’s J1 League.
Srisaket will make history in the first boxing main event ever to take place in ONE Championship, when he defends his belt against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz on Saturday, 6 October.
