Undefeated Rising Star Jordan Estupinan To Face Hard-Hitting Ali Saldoev At ONE Fight Night 31

An electrifying flyweight Muay Thai contest has just been added to ONE Championship’s upcoming U.S. primetime event.
On May 2 at ONE Fight Night 31: Kongthoranee vs. Nong-O II on Prime Video, undefeated Colombian sensation Jordan Estupinan will return for his sophomore appearance in ONE to take on Russian knockout artist Ali Saldoev.
That bout will take place in front of a Thai crowd at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium and promises white-knuckle action from the opening bell.
Estupinan is the twin brother to #5-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Johan Estupinan, and like his brother, he possesses a style of striking that’s both crowd-pleasing and brutally effective.
The 22-year-old arrived in the world’s largest martial arts organization with an unblemished professional record and loads of hype. He wasted no time living up to those expectations, scoring an impressive decision victory over talented British scrapper Freddie Haggerty in January at ONE 170.
That three-round war gave ONE’s global fan base a taste of what to expect out of Estupinan and undoubtedly garnered him legions of new followers.
The Colombian destroyer can look forward to another barnburner at ONE Fight Night 31.
Saldoev, who trains out of the renowned Fight Club Archangel Michael, made waves in his promotional debut last March at ONE 166 when he knocked out respected Moroccan striker Zakaria El Jamari.
While the 25-year-old would suffer a defeat in his following appearance, his concussive punching power and fearless approach continue to make him one of the flyweight Muay Thai division’s most dangerous contenders.
With each young fighters determined to stand out among the pack and announce himself as ONE’s next Muay Thai superstar, fans should look forward to a firefight on May 2.
