Vitor Belfort And Mike Tyson Invade AEW Dynamite
It has been a busy week for Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort.
First, the ONE Championship superstar attended All Elite Wrestling’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view event in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, 23 May. Then the Brazilian hit the gym with his friend, multiple-time Heavyweight Boxing World Champion “Iron” Mike Tyson, for a workout session.
And just last night, the duo returned to the North Florida city for AEW Dynamite, where the boxing legend had a confrontation with a professional wrestling icon in the center of the squared circle.
Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho stood in the ring, where he expressed his desire to exact some revenge from Tyson for previously being knocked out by him in January 2010.
That brought out the boxing legend, who was flanked by an entourage comprised of mixed martial arts World Champions including Belfort, “Sugar” Rashad Evans, and Henry Cejudo.
Jericho demanded an apology for the incident a decade ago, but Tyson responded with a shove. The AEW dynamo pushed back, and then pandemonium broke out.
Belfort and company restrained Tyson, but it seems like this rivalry is far from over.
