Watch The ONE 170 Weigh-Ins And Hydration Tests
The martial arts stars competing in Asia primetime this Friday, January 24, have one final step to complete before they’re cleared for battle at ONE 170: Tawanchai vs. Superbon II.
Every athlete set to fight at ONE’s blockbuster card at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, must first hit their mark on the scale and submit a hydration sample to ensure they’re healthy and ready to throw down.
Fans around the globe can watch the weigh-ins and hydration tests live by tuning in to the video below beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Wednesday, January 22.
The card is topped by a trio of must-watch World Title fights.
In the main event, reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai will put his gold on the line against ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon in a rematch of the pair’s thrilling 2023 battle.
Tawanchai earned a hard-fought majority decision in their first matchup and is looking for a more decisive triumph this time around, while Superbon is aiming to even the score and become a decorated two-sport ONE World Champion.
Before that, two of MMA’s most prolific finishers will square off when ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade defends his belt against South Korean knockout artist “Pretty Boy” Kwon Won Il.
The two fighters first met back in 2022 when the Brazilian scored a stunning first-round knockout, leaving Kwon hungry for revenge.
In the first World Title contest, Thai-Algerian phenom Nabil Anane will battle surging Scottish destroyer Nico “King of the North” Carrillo for the ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title – and a future World Title unification clash against reigning titleholder “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9.
The rest of the lineup is packed with elite talent and compelling matchups.
Notably, fans won’t want to miss the return of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu GOAT Marcelo Garcia, who will compete for the first time in 14 years when he locks horns with Masakazu Imanari in an openweight submission grappling tilt.
Also in action will be undefeated Colombian star Johan “Panda Kick” Estupinan, teenage Muay Thai prodigy Johan “Jojo” Ghazali, and Japanese kickboxing sensation Masaaki Noiri.
ONE 170 will take place this Friday, January 24, beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
