ONE Fight Night 24: Brooks vs. Balart on Prime Video is right around the corner, but before the action gets underway live in U.S. primetime this Friday, August 2, every athlete has one final hurdle to clear.
Ahead of that can’t-miss event at Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium, all 24 ONE stars must hit their marks at the official weigh-ins and hydration tests to ensure they’re ready to perform at their best.
Fans can watch the proceedings live by viewing the video below starting this Thursday, August 1, at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.
In the main event, former undisputed strawweight MMA kingpin Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks will battle Cuban rising star Gustavo “El Gladiador” Balart for the ONE Interim Strawweight MMA World Title.
Given each man’s elite wrestling, ever-evolving striking, and plentiful athletic gifts, fans can look forward to an all-action banger for as long as this World Title showdown lasts.
In the co-main event, American sensation Danielle Kelly will make the first defense of her ONE Women’s Atomweight Submission Grappling World Title when she locks horns with decorated Brazilian superstar Mayssa Bastos.
The Philadelphia native has turned heads at every turn, showcasing her crowd-pleasing style of submission hunting across four thrilling matches in ONE. Bastos, though, is arguably the planet’s top technician and is already a nine-time IBJJF World Champion.
The card also features a pivotal bantamweight Muay Thai tilt between #3-ranked contender Felipe “Demolition Man” Lobo and 20-year-old phenom Nabil Anane.
Anane has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the world’s largest martial arts organization, and he knows that a victory over the former two-time ONE World Title challenger will cement him as one of the best strikers on the planet.
There’s no shortage of other top talent on the lineup, including undefeated Filipino sensation Carlo “The Bull” Bumina-ang, #5-ranked featherweight MMA contender Shamil “The Cobra” Gasanov, ultra-entertaining knockout artist Elias “The Sniper” Mahmoudi, and atomweight Muay Thai standout Yu Yau Pui.
