ONE Championship Partners With Horizon Sports & Experiences To Expand Its Sponsorship Opportunities In The U.S.

ONE Championship teams up with Horizon Sports & Experiences

ONE Championship™ (ONE), the world’s largest martial arts organization, and Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E) today announced they have formed a partnership for the agency to work with and help manage ONE’s sponsorship, entitlement, and brand activation efforts in the United States.

As part of the agreement, HS&E will be responsible for developing and expanding ONE’s sponsorship portfolio to include new and innovative brand partners. HS&E will identify, negotiate, and represent sponsorship and entitlement agreements that will incorporate brands into ONE live events in a multitude of ways, as well as brand activation for accompanying ancillary experiences. Additionally, in its continuing efforts to create better experiences for brands and consumers, HS&E will provide ONE with its full suite of data and analytics services and solutions.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Horizon Sports & Experiences as we prepare to officially launch in the U.S.,” said Chatri Sityodtong, Chairman and CEO of ONE. “The U.S. is the world’s largest and most sophisticated sports and entertainment market and home to the world’s most elite sports leagues and properties. We’re grateful for HS&E’s staunch support to help us scale and succeed as we host our dynamic martial arts events live for the first time in front of our passionate U.S. fan base.”

According to Nielsen, ONE is a top five global sports property for viewership and engagement. ONE events represent the full spectrum of martial arts, with world-class athletes representing over 80 countries competing across MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling and other disciplines.

ONE makes its on-the-ground U.S. debut on May 5 in Colorado which is headlined by the trilogy fight between flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes.  The event will be broadcast live by Prime Video. In 2022, the two companies announced a multi-year agreement for Prime Video to broadcast 12 live ONE martial arts events annually. The full live events are available exclusively on Prime Video in the United States and Canada.

“ONE Championship is one of the biggest sports media properties in the world, and we’re excited to partner with them,” said David Levy, Co-CEO of HS&E. “As ONE Championship embarks on its U.S. debut next month, this is the perfect time to collaboratively work together to break new boundaries, create innovative sponsorships and activations for brands looking to connect with the unequivocal leader in martial arts and its engaged fan base.”

Launched in the fall of 2022, HS&E is led by founders and Co-CEOs David Levy and Chris Weil.  Since launching six months ago, HS&E has signed agreements with the NBA, Top Rank Boxing, Learfield, PayPal, Mohegan Sun, M&T Bank, among others.  Earlier this month, HS&E successfully produced the Pickleball Slam, a first-of-its-kind tournament televised on ESPN, featuring tennis legendsJohn McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, and Michael Chang competing for a $1 million dollar purse at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.
