ฌอน “Clubber” แคลนซี

WBC Muay Thai World Champion Sean “Clubber” Clancy took his nickname from “Rocky III” antagonist Clubber Lang. As a child, his parents discouraged him from doing sports of any kind, pushing him towards music instead as they were afraid he would get hurt. But he never gave up his passion for martial arts, and he took up Muay Thai at the relatively late age of 21. Within two years, Clancy had already secured his first Irish title in the ISKA, proving his immense talent.

By the age of 30, Clancy had compiled upwards of 60 bouts in Muay Thai and won a WBC World Championship along the way. Known for his toughness and knockout power, he has finished his opponent in over half of his wins, and he even once faced the legendary Saenchai on just a week’s notice.

Clancy is wholeheartedly dedicated to Muay Thai, and he relocated to Thailand to be at the epicenter of the sport after many years of working labor jobs to fund training trips. He believes that his biggest strength is his hunger to always learn and improve, all in pursuit of his main goal to become the best possible version of himself. For Clancy, giving up is simply not an option.
