5 Exciting Reasons To Watch ‘The Apprentice’ Episode 10
With four episodes of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” left, there will be no shortage of drama as the five remaining global candidates get closer to the one-year, US$250,000 contract to work as ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong‘s Chief Of Staff.
However, as opposed to the previous nine episodes of the show, the five candidates will get to know Chatri on a much more personal level.
With that said, here are five reasons you cannot miss Episode 10 this Thursday, 20 May, at 8:50 p.m. on AXN.
#1 Chatri Enters The Playing Field
There won’t be any guest athletes appearing in this episode’s physical challenge, but they aren’t needed this time around – the ONE Chairman and CEO has it covered.
Chatri will put on his cleats and show his soccer skills when, together with the five candidates, he’ll play alongside the kids of Boys’ Town in Singapore, a foundation close to the Thailand native’s heart.
Fans have already seen the craziest challenges, from dragon boat races to mock-helicopter crash escapes. And while this isn’t as wild as the other physical tasks, getting to know Chatri on a personal level while sharing time with those he cares about is as good as it gets.
#2 Appearance Of Billionaire Brothers
Dropping by the show to act as guest advisors this week are Indonesian billionaire brothers Karuna and Prajna Murdaya.
Karuna is the Director of the Central Cipta Murdaya (CCM) Group, an Indonesian conglomerate holding a business portfolio worth US$7 billion that owns businesses in infrastructure, agriculture, building equipment, and IT.
Prajna, on the other hand, is a rockstar – literally. Before becoming the Director of Jakarta International Expo and Berca Sportindo, Indonesia’s premier sportswear brand, he was a vocalist on the Stanford Fleet Street Singers.
With the two brothers bolstering the show, it’ll be interesting to see what the candidates take away from the duo’s eclectic portfolio of skill sets.
#3 Last Man Standing
On “The Apprentice,” men are hard to come across. With Niraj Puran Rao’s elimination in Episode 8, Louie Sangalang is now the last male candidate in the competition.
In addition to being the only male remaining, he is also one of the few candidates who have yet to face the chopping block after nine episodes.
Whether the cancer survivor manages to keep his position on the show for one more week or leave the remaining four women to contest the outcome between themselves will be revealed in Episode 10.
#4 The ‘MoRina’ Alliance
The first nine episodes have revealed most of the candidates’ motives, but perhaps one of the most notable side stories of the show is the alliance between American Monica Millington and Russian Irina Chadsey.
The “MoRina” alliance began when both women were part of Team Valor, where they created a solid partnership and smartly navigated the challenges in a way where they could excel and separate themselves from the other candidates.
However, after Irina was moved to Team Conquest in Episode 7, the two were forced to work together from different teams. Now that the group of global candidates has been narrowed down to five, will Irina and Monica reunite in Episode 10?
#5 Paulina’s Time To Shine
Paulina Purnomowati has been one of the most consistent candidates on “The Apprentice,” but that doesn’t mean she’s immune to criticism, especially from Chatri. This could all change in Episode 10, however.
The arrival of the Murdaya brothers could bolster Paulina’s bid on the show, as the two billionaires come from her native Indonesia and may offer up a challenge in her wheelhouse.
Paulina previously worked as the country manager for a multinational fashion and beauty retailer, a field the Murdaya brothers are familiar with.
With the stars finally aligning for her, this could be Paulina’s chance to stand out.
