Geje Eustaquio’s journey back to the top of the flyweight mountain got off to a great start at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON, as the former ONE World Champion earned a deserving decision victory over promotional newcomer Kim Kyu Sung. Though he was facing a bigger and lankier opponent, “Gravity” remained patient with his gamelan and picked his shots to outstrike the South Korean star through the first two rounds. Kim turned up the pressure in the final frame, utilizing his reach advantage to score with some powerful strikes, but his valiant effort was in vain as Eustaquio earned the nod from all three judges.
