Frequently Asked Questions

⚠️ NOTE 1: Ensure you have logged in via the same method you had logged in when you had purchased the event. Example – If you signup via Facebook and purchase, and then use another account as email+password with the same email as you have via the Facebook signup, you will not have access on the email+password account. We treat them as 2 different accounts

⚠️ NOTE 2: Payments from Myanmar – please prefer to use VISA/Mastercard cards. Authorization rates for JCB / Maestro are extremely low.

General Information

1. What is watch.onefc.com?

This is the place where you can experience ONE Championship events in FULL HD. Both LIVE & Past ones – subject to geo-restrictions.

2. I have a prior commitment I cannot miss and can’t catch the events live. Can I come back later and watch?

You absolutely can view events at your own convenience! Post event conclusion, the full event Video On Demand (VOD) will be available on the same event’s page roughly within an hour (mostly ~30 mins).

The transition period from LIVE to PAST is not a great experience especially if you are an hour behind true LIVE and catching up to previous fights. When the switch happens from LIVE to PAST, it will happen mid-fight for you and you will have to wait until the VOD is ready. We understand that this isn’t ideal and are evaluating a few technical solutions.

3. What are “Monthly Packs”?

In certain countries, ONE Championship events are available on the purchase of a monthly pack on watch.onefc.com. These typically are monthly one-time purchases; all ONE Championship events for that specific month are then available for viewing. They do NOT automatically renew each month and will have to be re-purchased for the particular month.

4. What historical events are available on watch.onefc.com?

The watch.onefc.com library is currently being built. We have all the events from 2018 and steadily will have all our past events available to access here.

Technical

1. Can I change/link login methods?

You cannot change/link login methods yet. On one device, you can log in through only one method (Facebook/Apple/Google/Email). The website remembers your chosen method for a few days and if you try to log in again, it will automatically log you in through the method you used before.

If you want to use another login method, then a combination of clearing cache, using incognito, or ideally a different browser should work.

NOTE – Even if your Facebook/Google emails are the same, they are different login methods and are not interchangeable.

IMP – If you login from one method and purchase an event and then login through a second method, the second account will not have access. We treat them as different accounts.

2. What hardware/software is required? What is the best option?

You can access the show on most modern browsers that support HLS streams. Computers, laptops, smartphones, consoles, and tablets are all okay as long as the browser supports HLS streams. Some iPhones & iPads face difficulty in playing long LIVE streams through browsers. It will be inconsistent especially with newer iOS/iPadOS versions.

For the best experience, a safe choice is Windows/Mac/Android + Chrome

For Premium Events, we run DRM protected videos at our discretion.

What is DRM and why do we use it?

Our video player uses Digital Rights Management (DRM) to help protect premium content so that only authorized viewers can watch it. This ensures that our shows and movies remain secure and available only to our subscribers.

What should I expect when watching videos on my phone?
  • When you stream our live or on‑demand videos on your Android phone (using browsers like Chrome or Edge) or your iOS device, you should experience smooth playback if you’re using an updated browser in regular mode.
  • Our player might block viewing in Incognito/Private modes.
  • Our player is designed to protect the content, so you may notice that the system does not allow certain copying actions.
  • For the best experience, please make sure your browser settings allow “Protected content” (you can usually find this in the browser’s settings under “Site settings” or “Content settings”).
What about watching on a laptop or desktop?
  • On your computer, our videos play securely through your web browser.
  • For external displays (via HDMI or similar connections), the content is protected by industry-standard methods.
  • If you have any issues with video quality or playback, we recommend checking that you’re using an up‑to‑date browser and a secure connection (HTTPS).

3. Problem with the stream? Try these simple yet effective fixes.

  • Refresh your browser page.
  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  • Access the website via private/incognito mode.
  • Restart your computer or device.
  • Try using a different browser or different device.
  • Try using a different network like another WiFi connection, 4G, or a hotspot.
  • If you have an unstable connection, though it is recommended to keep the stream in “Auto” configuration for quality, you can choose to drop down the video quality you are trying to view.
  • Mirroring or casting the ‘screen’ of your device to a television may cause feedback, frame drops or other audio/video interruptions. Try turning this option off.
  • If you are screensharing, stopping it might resume playback.
  • If you have connected an HDMI cable to an external display, ensure that the Dongle, the Cable & the display itself are all DRM & HDCP compliant. If they are not, you will see a black screen / frozen frame. In certain non-compliant cases, you might see the video only being available in SD quality.

4. How can I cast it to my TV?

Absolutely! In most situations, you should be able to cast directly from the video player to a Chromecast or Apple AirPlay supported device. You will see the casting icon on the video player’s bottom right. If you do not, there is a high chance that your casting device isn’t set up to be visible publicly or is not supported by the player. Please note that not all casting methods are supported.

Most modern devices and browsers support an alternate way of finding the device – right click on the video, then click ‘Cast media to device,’ and select your casting receiver.

Chromecast

Since Chromecast relies on the browser’s support for casting, it is only supported in the following OS/browser combinations: Desktop+Chromium & Android+Chromium
Chromecast is NOT supported on Safari on desktop/iOS or Chromium on iOS. For these cases, the Chromecast icon will not be displayed.

If you do not see the Chromecast icon on the video player in a supported environment, you can right click on the video and click on “Cast media to device”.

Apple AirPlay

Apple AirPlay also relies on browser’s support for AirPlay. It works on MacOS+Safari, iOS+Safari, iPadOS+Safari

5. Can I physically connect to my TV?

Yes, you can via an HDMI cable from your laptop/desktop and even your phone sometimes.

For premium events, your connection route – dongle+cable+display should all be DRM and HDCP compliant. Else, the video player will show a blank or frozen screen.

6. What are the connection requirements for a smooth experience?

  1. A stable high-speed WiFi, 4G, or higher connection is required.
  2. We strongly recommend using a WiFi connection for the best quality and uninterrupted service.
  3. We recommend a dedicated downstream bandwidth of 4Mbps or higher. We adjust our stream based on your bandwidth. The slowest consistent speeds serviceable without any trouble is ~2Mbps. Anything lower than that and you will experience buffering.

Payments & Refunds

1. How do I pay? And why are we asking for your email again?

We require your email to run them through a 3D Secure 2.0 route before initiating a payment. Some users who chose Facebook & Apple based logins might have to resupply their actual email as those platforms sometimes do not share a legitimate email with us.

At this time, we support a few payment methods and will launch more local ones steadily.

2. Refund Policy

We will process refunds for PPV within 72-96 hours after the refund request was submitted. Refunds shall be issued only in the following cases:

  1. The paid event was not available because the event was cancelled.
  2. More than 80% of the full live event globally or locally had streaming issues (no sound, or poor sound & video quality).  We will verify your issue across other complaints/refund requests we receive to ensure the streams were unwatchable.
  3. Refunds for paid events must be submitted no later than 48 hours after a live broadcast of an event has finished.

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please send a request by filling our request form. Please reference the order ID number provided at the time of purchase of the content for which a refund is requested.

NOTE : Approved refunds for payment methods that do not support seamless refunds (example – PromptPay QR) will happen via a fixed-amount payment link. We will send it to you on your registered email. You will need to take action from that email about where you want to receive the funds.

If you were unable to watch the stream due to a technical reason, please Submit a Request. Please also include the following information:

  • Device and browser you attempted to view through
  • Country/City
  • The live stream event you were unable to watch
  • The issue that prevented you from watching
  • Include as much detail as possible and screenshots, if applicable.

Note: Requesting a refund does not mean it is automatically granted. Also, there are no refunds for change of mind, bout card fluctuations, accidental purchases, or plain dissatisfaction.

For cases where more clarity is needed, Customer Success teams may contact the viewer for more information.

Restrictions

Your event purchase for a “Paid Event” is applicable only in the country you have purchased it in. Eg: If you purchase an event today in country 1 and then visit a country 2 where that event is geo-blocked, you will NOT be able to view this event in country 2.

Paid, Live and Video on Demand events are provided solely for personal and residential use. You cannot use these commercially or stream on public channels, forums & platforms unless agreed in writing with ONE Championship.

Reach out to us on help@onefc.com if you wish to stream them.

We run VPN checks at the point of purchase and at the time of playback. If you are using a VPN (or if your network has a VPN on it), watch.onefc.com will block you from purchasing to ensure you do not end up paying and then later be blocked at video playback.

It is NOT recommended to be switching VPNs on and off continuously as the website will red-flag the device. We may block some IPs if there are continuous attempts to circumvent the VPN checks.
